What started out as a desire to do what was seen by the music industry artists most people grew to know and love eventually became a full on journey for what would later become the name VERSATILE!

Studying and marveling at the songs, music videos, & live performances in all genres from RnB to Rap to Pop and even the likes of Rock & Roll, VERSATILE eventually decided THATS WHAT HE WANTED TO DO! So he embarked on what they call “Being A Student To The Game” and started studying everything possible from credits in the album covers to song styles and structures. Enamored at how Dj’ s scratched records and even did remixes to Hit Records, it sparked a forever burning desire to do and surpass what the greats do and did in his own way!

As a singer groomed by his mother who was also a singer who could hang with the best of them like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Deniece Williams & more not to mention the REAL COUSIN of singing group TAVARES known for the hit “Heaven Must Be Missing An Angel” in the early years yet still used in movies and more, VERSATILE began to sing EVERYWHERE until stumbling into the need to finally start doing studio work! This lead to many different experiences and polishing of his craft which seemed to be NEXT STOP SINGER/RAPPER COMBO ARTIST which wasn't really heard of much during that time, hence fast forward to the world being introduced later to a Canadian artist with the same setup that was eventually demonstrated and accepted by DRAKE on a mixtape that VERSATILE would have the pleasure in helping to break where others weren't so receptive and would eventually catch on to.

But let's not move too fast and go back a bit. VERSATILE as an artist would experience and got through what today's artists go through minus social media and would be quiet as kept behind powers that be that would not only scam but keep every piece of work of VERSATILE’s stating it was ALL their music as it was recorded in THEIR studio. During a time that internet and social media were nowhere near as ready and prevalent as it is in today's society with immediate access to any & all info, most things were mums the word and no one would know due to fancy shmancy lawyers and more than likely lack of knowledge by the artists.

After experiencing such heartache, heartbreak and turmoil, VERSATILE decided to embark on a GREATER JOURNEY to learn everything possible about the ins and outs of the music business, rub as many elbows as possible while climbing the ranks into influential positions from the mud, against popular belief, standing for what's right, impacting as many people positively in the industry and fight to make a difference by being the difference until his last breathe on this precious God’s green earth.

It just so happens that the tinkering with mixing songs cassette recorder to cassette recorder to make what one would deem technical mixtapes early in life as a kid would find him years later delving into an area to dj college parties and birthday events. His love for having creative control to help others embrace emotions through use of music would push him even further to dive in head first into beat-making and production to create remixes and shortly after original beats and music for other artists which would spark even more abilities to help POSITIVELY IMPACT THE MASSES & EVEN THE WORLD!

Along this journey, VERSATILE would move as a Boss like a ninja/Batman as they would call it in a way that's effective, in and out the music scenes from city to city thru regions and eventually helping overseas as well. Doing everything from working in media, with terrestrial radio stations, starting a record label, managing artists, hosting radio shows, podcasts, hosting events, coordinating events, stage management, graphic design/branding, marketing company Executive, deejaying, beatmaking, producing, recording/mixing/mastering engineering and much more it was safe to say that VERSATILE really had his hands in everything needed on and at the highest professional levels to organize, facilitate and effectively execute the change the rest of the world expected to see and waited for.

To this day VERSATILE continues to STAND FOR SOMETHING not falling for anything as he as garnered the love, attention and most importantly THE RESPECT from the streets, corporations, churches and of course music industry professional executives as well as tastemakers and artists. Leaving people with the knowing they can take anything he says to the bank as he stands on being “Accountable for what I do & do not say or else someone else's blood is on my hands if the info I haven't shared yet could have been and I didnt say what I could have to help or save them”. With every level of elevation by God’s grace despite all the obstacles and failed attempts to rid his presence, VERSATILE still stands and continues to help make others STRONG & STAND against Bad Business and any other Tom Foolery that may cause negative effects in what should be the POSITIVE RISE IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY!

Working on/for/with the smallest to biggest concerts, festivals, venues & more GLOBALLY as “The Professional Connect The Dot’r” and nicknamed “The Bad Business Exterminator” its no surprise that VERSATILE has worked with GREATS & SUPERSTARS starting at home in Chicago and other cities with the likes of DaWreck, Twista, Shawnna, Do Or Die, Crucial Conflict, Ben One, Psycho Drama, DaWreck, Public Announcement, 3 Piece, Beadz, Sinatris, Easy O’hare, Teefah, DLOW, Spenzo, LStreetz, Sweet Juices & Many More as well as Fat Joe,Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Ginuwine, Jon B., Dru Hill, Mya, Rod Wave and MANY MANY MORE! No spring chicken to the music industry VERSATILE has been exactly what his name implies!
